2 Stars Dust Bunnies and Fur Babies Only, Please
We have hardwoods and a big dog that molts twice a year (blows her coat) so this was purchased just to pick up the seasonal Fur Babies that congregate within hours of vacuuming. The battery has a very short life but I can hit all of the corners before it is finished. Does not pick up cat litter well at all. Fur fills the small cup quickly. The cup is easy to clean, but you do have to touch fuzzy contents. The toggle type power switch is distant, awkward and snaps into the “On” and “Off” position — if you have small hands it may take both of them just to turn it on and/or off. The attached crevice tool is a nice feature. We have had several Handheld Vacs and know their many limitations, this one does do the job i purchased it for. I gave it 2 stars because of it’s very light duty, weak suction, short battery life, and awkward design.

3 Stars gift
this was a gift, i can’t review it personally, but the recipients say they are using and enjoying it.

1 Star weak handheld vacuum
This is not the handheld vacuum to own if you have anything more than the lightest weight dust to clean up. The suction is very weak. I think there are just not enough volts to power it. No stars for it at all!

2 Stars Disappointed
I’m afraid this vacuum was not powerful enough for my simple needs. It could not pick up any pet fur, nor could it remove cat litter or much of anything else from carpet. I realize small handhelds can’t do as good a job as my big corded vacuum, but I expected more from this given the positive reviews. On the plus side, it is lightweight and appears to be easy to clean.

5 Stars The Boss—The Best
The product is exactly as described and is a breeze to use. I would recommend this item and give it the five(5)stars it deserves!

Oreck XLAUTO Car Vacuum Cleaner

It should come as no surprise that the best car vac of all is an Oreck. A leading retail institute rated it #1 for superior cleaning ability and ease of use. Just plug this lightweight marvel into the cigarette lighter and the 15-foot cord lets you reach into the trunk and get at the floors and seats. It’s lightweight, sleek design easily maneuvers into hard-to-reach spots.

5 Stars Very Pleased-from a person who hates vacuum cleaners!
I am not a fan of carpets and vacuum cleaners, but am married to someone who insists on living room carpet. We have a black dog and a white cat–with off-white carpet and a black couch. Quite a cleaning challenge!

I read all of the reviews in here carefully before deciding to go ahead and try this sweeper, so I was aware of the problems that some users have had with it.

After having it for 4 months, I absolutely love this sweeper! The attachment takes the pet hair off of the couch beautifully–the trick is to not press the attachment head into the couch, as this stops the rotation of the little brush. I have had no trouble with using the hose. From reading the reviews, I make sure to tip the sweeper back while using the attachment so that the beater bar does not make a divot in my carpet. That is probably the only thing I wish they could change about the sweeper. I will agree that the “hush” feature isn’t very quiet–but it wasn’t a feature that I cared about, so it wasn’t an issue for me.

The suction is greater than any sweeper I’ve ever owned (and I’ve owned quite a few!) and the dirt canister is easy to empty.

On bare floors, it picks up very well, with less of the dirt/debris being flung back against my legs than many sweepers that I’ve used.

In my opinion, you won’t find a better sweeper for the money.

5 Stars Wow! Look at it go!
I wanted to quickly give my 2 cents on this vacuum cleaner. I was looking for a reasonably priced vacuum to replace my ancient one and this one had great reviews. I have to agree with everyone. This little vacuum really pulls itself along all by itself! It has a very powerful suction that really picked up anything in my 2-cat household. The hepa filter and screen really kept any dust from coming back out of the vacuum. I had no idea there was so much in my carpet??? After vacuuming I took the canister out without any struggle and dumped it directly into the trash in the garage. I used a small hand broom to clean the filter really quick and easily put the whole thing back together. I did not find it overly noisy compared to other vacuums or too heavy as have been reported in other reviews. I have a set of stairs to vacuum and the little handle at the front made for pretty easy lifting. I do not consider myself brawny and still had no problem lifting this up 12 steps. It seemed to pick up all the stuff on the kitchen floors as well. It fits between my counters and the floor very nicely so that I can get right up against the wall. I haven’t tried the attachment yet, but so far so good! It’s well worth the money. I recommend this product for anyone who wishes they could afford a Dyson, but doesn’t want to pay $400 for a vacuum cleaner! The bottom line is that it does its job very well and very efficiently.

1 Star empowerless
u5269-900 bagless is a waste of money. Takes about 5 times longer to vacum a room and only get it half clean. Lacks power and filter is constantly clogging with minimal use. Pain in the a** to clean. Hose with power brush is only thing that really works half decent, but hose is way to short and it’s no fun pushing around that small attachment on your hands and knees. Never again for a Hoover. If I could, I’d rate it at -5 stars, it’s that bad.

3 Stars OK Vacuum, Messy to Clean
I have owned this vacuum for about three years and use it every week. I have three cats and with a lot of determination I can get the cat hair up from carpets and furniture (but it is a lot of work.) However, my major complaint with this vacuum is cleaning the canister. This is my first bagless, so I don’t know if this is a common issue, but emptying out the canister will cause dust to fly everywhere. I have learned to strategically place the canister completely inside a large garbage bag before I tip it out. This minimizes the dust flying, but it still gets on me and then the counter from the empty canister. It’s such an unpleasant chore, that I am seriously considering going back to bags, even with the inconvenience of having to always have them on hand.

1 Star VacuumSucker
This vacuum is very loud and does not work. The accessory attachment holder broke within the first month. We had a Hoover for about 15 yrs and it worked great. Pardon the pun but this vacuum sucks and not in a good way.

4 Stars It works
For the price, the vacuum does the job. We have five dogs and two cats in our house so it is quite a task.

The bads:

The cord could be longer. The hose for the attachments could stretch easier. The wheels on mine don’t seem to turn all that smooth but I wasn’t expecting them to be on ball bearings or anything.

The goods:

It is cheap. It is light It picks up the hair on our carpet better than the previous vacuum we had. We don’t have to empty a dirty bagless vacuum any more.

It probably won’t be the next vacuum that we purchase when we have more money but we are happy for now.

2 Stars The “Auto Height Adjustment Feature” is very annoying, a shame for an otherwise good vacuum cleaner
I will probably re-sell or donate this vacuum to someone in a few months. There is no manual adjustment for carpet height or any setting for cleaning floors. Essentially you raise or lower the handle by the grip end which causes the bottom (motor housing) of the vacuum to raise up or down. This is annoying since in some areas of the house where I have low-cut carpeting, the only way to get good contact to the carpet is to hold the end of the handle very low to the floor while you vacuum. If Panasonic eliminated the “Auto Height Feature” and simply put a manual height adjuster on this model you could set with your foot that would have been much better. This vacuum is capable of cleaning well and makes an average amount of noise compared to other vacuums. I prefer bag-type vacuum cleaners over the bagless type. The last vacuum I owned was a bagless type and it became annoying to have to clean 3 filters and also deal with being exposed to the dust when emptying the dust container. I am currently looking for another bag-type vacuum to replace this Panasonic. Nothing against Panasonic, it’s possible I would have liked a higher priced Panasonic vacuum instead of this model. I do not recommend the purchase of this model.
